Controls Engineer for an automotive supplier which manufactures interior carpets and trim. Responsible for PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and repair; process optimization; modifying vision programs; installed and setup Floor Safety Scanners. Used Kepware OPC to access PLC data through CP 343-1 comunications processors, for third party Performance Monitoring software. Used Siemens Step 7 to troubleshoot and program S7-300 PLCs for presses, carpet forming machines, ultrasonic welders, and foaming units. Used RSLogix 5000 to troubleshoot and program CompactLogix controlled foaming units.

Provided PLC/HMI programming/controls support for an automotive-drivetrain inspection/assembly line. Modified PLC/HMI programs and created new HMI screens for Operator Panels to monitor and control the conveyor system and assembly stations. Used Siemens Step 7 with S7-300, WinCC, and TIA Portal.

PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting using Studio 5000 with GuargLogix and CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk View ME with Panelviews, to control conveyors, mold-management system, ovens, pick-and-place, parts-tracking (i.e. RFID, barcode, time-stamp), and process flow.

Deployed Quality Analysis software and hardware in Coca-Cola bottling facilities throughout the USA. Performed site-surveys to document processes and created tables of Site-Specific Specifications to import into the corporate database.

PLC/HMI programming and line-commissioning, supporting manufacturing operations in a Coca-Cola owned plastic-recycling facility. Used RSLogix 500 with SLC-500 and RSView32 to program controls for R&D plastic bottle recycling line, RSLogix 5000 with ControlLogix and Wonderware Intouch to program new plastic bottle recycling processes, CompactLogix and Wonderware to program and control water treatment, Siemens Step 7 S7-300 and ET-200S for controlling granulators, Automation Direct to modify dehumidifier program, Wonderware Historian to collect all process data.
