We are looking for experienced Robotic Weld Technicians for our customer in Highland Park MI. 1 month contract with possibility to extend and direct hire.
*** Must be willing to work A, B or C shifts ***
*** Local Candidates preferred (within 50 miles of site). Expenses for highly qualified candidate out of the local area possible. No expenses for Local to site candidates. ***
Responsiblities and experience needed;
Robotic Welding experience (MAG/MIG welding)
Robotics weld programming and touch up of robot weld points (not starting from scratch) for KUKA preferred
Troubleshoot weld fixtures and sensors
Troubleshoot and setup safety devices (light curtain, area scanner)
Automotive experience
Deal extensively with production team and other support groups as well as equipment suppliers
Plus Competencies:
JIT experience (plus)
Shifts Flexibility (plus)
Experience on the cut & etch processes (Plus)
Equipment and platforms on this work: KUKA.
Tools called for: Basic Electrical Tools, Basic Hand Tools and Lockout Tagout Kit.
