Job Description

We are looking for experienced Robotic Weld Technicians for our customer in Highland Park MI. 1 month contract with possibility to extend and direct hire.

*** Must be willing to work A, B or C shifts ***

*** Local Candidates preferred (within 50 miles of site). Expenses for highly qualified candidate out of the local area possible. No expenses for Local to site candidates. ***

Responsiblities and experience needed;

Robotic Welding experience (MAG/MIG welding)

Robotics weld programming and touch up of robot weld points (not starting from scratch) for KUKA preferred

Troubleshoot weld fixtures and sensors

Troubleshoot and setup safety devices (light curtain, area scanner)

Automotive experience

Deal extensively with production team and other support groups as well as equipment suppliers

JIT experience (plus)

Shifts Flexibility (plus)

Experience on the cut & etch processes (Plus)

Travel Time$36.00/hr

Mig Welding
Must be flexible and willing to work A shift (Mon-Thurs 5am to 5pm), B shift (Wed-Sat 5pm to 5am), or C Shift (Mon-Tue 5pm to 5am & Fri-Sat 5am to 5pm). AA times/expenses due in system each Sunday night or early Monday morning for approval and processing. Expenses for higly qualified candidates out of the local area (50 miles + from facility) possilbe. No expenses for Local to site candidates. Timesheets must be signed by the customer representative before submission. Expense reports must be signed by the customer representative and include receipts.
