2 openings — Robotic Weld Technician contract in Highland Park, MI. $64/hr · 3 months.

We are looking for experienced Robotic Weld Technicians for our Manufacturing plant in Highland Park MI. 1 month contract with possibility to extend.

*** Must be willing to work B shift (Wed-Sat 5pm to 5am), or C Shift (Mon-Tue 5pm to 5am & Fri-Sat 5am to 5pm) ***

*** Expenses for qualified candidate out of the local area (50 miles + from facility). No expenses for Local to site candidates.

Responsiblities and experience needed;

Robotic Welding experience (MAG/MIG welding)

Robotics weld programming and touch up of robot weld points (not starting from scratch) for KUKA preferred

Troubleshoot weld fixtures and sensors

Troubleshoot and setup safety devices (light curtain, area scanner)

Documenting processes and maintaining service records including root cause analysis

Executing preventive maintenance plans

Automotive experience

Deal extensively with production team and other support groups as well as equipment suppliers

Plus Competencies:

JIT experience (plus)

Shifts Flexibility (plus)

Experience on the cut & etch processes.

Equipment and platforms on this work: ABB, Fanuc and KUKA.

Tools called for: Basic Electrical Tools, Basic Hand Tools and Lockout Tagout Kit.
