Quick easy robot for simple or complex motions. I used them in a pharmaceutical application. I was programming them to fold boxes, move product from conveyor to conveyor, and other tasks. High speed compared to other manufacturers.

First from scratch development using a windows 3.1 platform. Last platform was windows 10. Not much out there for new platforms and updates. It has been purchased by multiple companies.

S5 resurrection and basic reset. Fasttrack software interface. Also good for TI525/TI535. Step 7 programming from scratch 6 unit printing press. TIA portal and WinCC programming and startup for thermal oxidizers. G120 VFD startup using wireless interface. Up to 600 HP.

Ladder logic is second nature. I can program anything.

Wrote the code for a custom high speed Juki sewing machine. It was for a company that makes overhead doors and door cushions. They can be seen at every shipping dock. It included over 100 recipes and a configuration setup for new recipes.

Part recognition and tool modification. No from scratched experience

Too much to list. I'm a farm boy. I can fix anything.

Old or new. Good with safety standards, component selection and sizing.

Carried the same standard for quite a few years. Extensive experience at Volvo Powertrain. Programmed 12 assembly cells with slave only robots and vision. Carried the same standard to all cells and is still used today.

My knowledge is deep enough to troubleshoot on a board level. I can pick out the bad components and replace them with something similar.

European prints, German prints, Italian prints and English print understanding. I can read them by the components and translate the language. Usually it is obvious what the word means. Top to bottom prints and left to right prints are easily understood.

Everything needs troubleshooting. Even new equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting is a necessity for an automation engineer

Clean enclosures and tidy cabinets properly wired give the perception that the machine is running to its potential. If it is wired to code it will be a better machine.

MCC selection and installation certification. Strong understanding of MCC's 480vac and under 5000 amps.

UL508. Panel Type selection. Electrical print design. Panel layout. Component selection.

Proficient but slow. Good at making revisions or copy and paste.

Assembly cells for all kinds of parts people use every day.

Volvo powertrain 9 cell piston assembly line.

I can solve complex machine operation. Program from just an IO list. Select my own VFD's, circuit breakers, disconnects, fuses and show the drafters how to draw the prints. Using autocad is another sklll. I can show the drafters to use as built drawings and all the component dxf downloads. Layer usage is a requirement for most electrical prints.

CIP, SIP sequence programming and mixing valve programming. PLC program writing and testing.

Reverse engineered multiple printing press programs. Some of them I wrote on my own and some I wrote on the fly. Took controls from and old machine that lost its program and wrote a new one based on IO and machine requirements. Also did the same for Anderson Packaging.

Started with ABB in 2000 and programmed every type of servo and drive since then. Servo converting applications all over the US. Mainly Heidelberg presses that were rebuilt mechanically and electrically.
