Automotive engineer (Engineer in Training) with a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from Ontario Tech University. Currently an Exterior Matching and Scanning Engineer contracted to General Motors, installing pre-production parts on the ETAC, reporting measurements and open issues to suppliers, DREs and IRT, organizing matching and iteration events, and scanning parts on ETAC and BIW to support root cause activities; closed upwards of 100 PRTS issues across two programs. Previous manufacturing/process and quality engineering experience at Magna International - Mytox Manufacturing supporting production, prototype builds, MED files, FMEA/APQP, inspection instructions, gage R&R and capability studies. Skilled with TeamCenter, PolyWorks Metrology Suite, Hexagon Romer Arm, precision measurement tools and Microsoft Office.

Installing pre-production parts on the ETAC to verify parts meet dimensional specifications. Reporting measurements and open issues to suppliers, DREs and IRT, working toward nominal part condition through part tuning and engineering changes. Organizing matching and iteration events for parts to be trialed, mocked up and tested. Scanning parts on the ETAC and BIW to gather data supporting root cause activities. Closed upwards of 100 PRTS issues across two programs.
Worked alongside Manufacturing Engineers on production support, prototype builds and documentation. Controlled MED files consisting of operator instructions, SWCs and error-proofing procedures. Supported FMEA and APQP activities during pre-production stages to ensure assembly lines were built efficiently.
