About Me
I am a controls engineer with over 14 years of field experience. I have programmed Fanuc, Comau, and Stäubli robots. I possess a double master's degree: one in Advanced Robotics and Applied Informatics from the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France, and another in Robotics Engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy. I have extensive experience in various industries including automotive, logistics, brewing, food and beverages, tissue, ceramics, molding, and polymers. I consider myself an expert in Rockwell Automation devices and have also developed projects using Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, GE-Fanuc, and Bosch PLCs. Additionally, I have worked with various VFD models and brands, cameras, barcode readers, RFID systems, and other peripherals. My expertise extends to communication protocols and safety systems, as well as knowledge in pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical systems.
Moreover, I have experience in iOS development using UIKit and SwiftUI, working with several external SDKs. I have also implemented web code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Throughout my career, I have led large programming teams and mixed-knowledge teams comprising mechanics, electricians, and programmers. I enjoy collaborating with others, sharing experiences, and contributing to team success.

Applications (3)
Throughout my career, I have developed numerous projects from scratch. I possess knowledge and experience in developing large-scale projects, organizing code efficiently, and schedulling tasks based on their importance and functionality. As a developer, effective communication with customers is crucial to inform them about the project's implementation. Even before starting to code, I meticulously plan every aspect of the project. I always consider the project schedule to prioritize essential tests and allow other teams, such as mechanics, to make necessary adjustments. I have experience developing in several languages, including Ladder, ST, FBD, SFC, and C.
I have experience using various Rockwell Automation SCADAs and HMIs, ranging from legacy models to the most modern versions. I have implemented PlantPAX systems and occasionally utilized standardized blocks. Additionally, I have experience with Mitsubishi and Proface HMIs. I have also made modifications to Ignition systems.
I have participated in projects where the core code was already written, and the main functionalities were working, although with some issues. In these projects, my responsibilities included debugging the code, enhancing its performance, and ensuring smooth production. Some changes had to be made online while production was running, while others could be done offline. Troubleshooting systems from other programmers can be challenging due to the different ways of thinking and logic styles each programmer may have. However, logic remains logic, and addressing malfunctions in the code is ultimately a matter of following the logical flow.
