Start and finish obsolescence projects from VSM initiatives to improve machine efficiency and keep equipment downtime low with respect to production runtime through commissioning new automation standards and processes. o Conveyance, extrusion, calendaring, cutting, production assembly, quality verification, and material storage. • Support maintenance teams with day-to-day repairs and parts allocations for upgrades and project goals relating to automation activities. o Drive projects, upgrades to existing systems to incorporate new automation equipment, PLC integration. o Supervise and train maintenance personnel and contractor services during projects. • Provide feedback on an expert basis regarding controls and electrical project feasibility, overall task completion and follow through. o Communication with management and corporate stakeholders during project lifespan. o Hold kickoff meetings and stakeholder meetings in accordance with milestones for each project respectively. • Lead projects to improve machine longevity in relation to individual components and assemblies. o Coordinate with outside contractor groups to quote, bid and write proposals for machine obsolescence and priority. • Assist in training new maintenance technicians to allow for more qualified personnel to work on machinery. o Develop training programs and support of new troubleshooters and maintenance staff during onboarding. • Process obsolete and advance procurement of needed components in a timely manner. o Utilizing ERP, CMMS, Ivalua, SQL databases all for procurement of services and parts with reporting quarterly on project status Control and create electrical documentation with DraftSight to support changing machinery and upgrades and provide oversight to third party contractors to proof schematics before approvals. o Draft project proposals for mechanical and electrical changes for RFQs with contractor groups. • Manage and administrate 8 FactoryTalk Asset Centre servers for the plant to include management of SQL databases, asset management, networking of machinery, technical support, and provide support to surrounding plants with their respective servers to achieve corporate standard for asset management. • Assist with management of energy initiatives and projects within the plant to push for green status of electrical systems. • Development and support of HMI, Drive, and PLC related projects from design, integration, programming, and start up support.

• Assist the design team to draft and publish drawings and models for prototyping. • Coordinate with production teams to construct and fabricate components for testing purposes. • Work with customers to test and prove-out projects for real world results. • Assist software engineers to create an AI system for collision avoidance and obstacle detection on automated machinery. • Work with electrical engineering team to troubleshoot wiring and electrical schematics for prototype projects and production projects. • Work with mechanical engineering team to produce designs on first run basis and improve design quality for future use. • Organize cooperation with production team and assist with fabrication with regards to manual machining and welding when needed

• Coordinate with facility maintenance team to keep our test benches operational. • Working in a consistently adaptive roll of electrical technician and mechanical technician • Operate and maintain combustion dynos that utilize active fueling systems and exhaust systems. • Troubleshoot mechatronic valve bodies from our warranty claims for ZF transmissions. • Support global claim network for resolving reoccurring potential production problems. • Assist with any quality-of-life improvements made to our facilities and test benches. • Perform logistics-based duties as well as maintain excel based tracking sheets for Purchase orders, component tracking and SAP component lookup and consumption. • Ability to adapt to required job roles as they become necessary, moving from R&D responsibilities to production responsibilities as a set-up technician.

• Assist with the production of prototype suspension components. • Design and fabricate parts for integration of machinery and troubleshooting. • Maintain machinery by creation of TPM or preventative maintenance schedules. • Perform 5S and lean functions on a scheduled basis, logistics-based projects. • Assembly and integration of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems • Development of PLC programs and electrical systems for testing purposes • Ability to read and comprehend Electrical schematics, PLC Logic, hydraulic/pneumatic.
