Programming Skills (1)
I have 20 years experience in the industry. I have worked on several large projects over the years. I generally design in Autocad Electrical and carry from design to build to commissioning and start up. My programming skills include HMI development in RSView ME and RSView SE as well as automation direct and Aveva. My projects have included motion with Allen Bradleys Poweflex Drives and Kinetix systems in the lumber industry.

Professional Competencies (6)
I have used Autocad and Autocad Electrical to design several projects. Including projects in Food Industry, Concrete Industry, Wastewater Treatment systems, and Pulp & Paper and Wood Industries.
I do a lot of PLC programming, but have not done robotics.
I thing that my biggest strength is in problem solving. I love to troubleshoot problems and determine why things do not work as they should.
My Chemistry background has helped me to design systems in wastewater. My responsibility has generally been to listen to how the customer would like to run their system. I try to add input where I believe it makes sense and design a system that will work. I do not have background in mechanical however I do understand how to spec a pump, or determine tank size based on flow/holding time etc.
As a business owner I have been responsible for Managing the projects that I have worked on.
I draw schematics in autocad electric and have become fluent in reading schematics from different countries. Not everyone uses the same ISA symbols.
Applications (3)
I am a systems integrator.
Electrical Troubleshooting of control systems is something I do daily. I have volt meters and simulators and the ability to use them.
I have my electricians license in Oregon. I am capable of wiring and building panels.
