I was responsible for all purchasing of welding equipment whether it be manual or automated. I was responsible for cost reduction by introduction of new types of automation equipment. Projects included but not limited to converting manual step tube sanding to robotic process. Successful automation of the welding of casting material. Tore out the robot cells that were in place when I arrived and brought them up to proper safety standards. Added Panel View, Programmable Logic Controller's and Pneumatic system to automate fixturing. Introduced different brands of robots to fit a particular processes. Performed all maintenance on above mentioned as well as developed additional preventative maintenance programs for other areas of plant.

Sold, programmed and installed Micrologix, Compact Logix as well as Control Logix Allen Bradley PLC's. Some projects included welding of aluminum, stainless steel as well as carbon steel.
