Review and approve control system design drawings such as P&IDs and Panel schematic drawings. Provide design support when necessary to CAD team. Development and execution of software test protocols. Development and customization of simulation code for use during software testing. Work with Commissioning Team to test integration of control system to customer facility in preparation for validation.
Configure/Program various types of VFD's including Allen Bradley, ABB, and Schneider for local/remote motor control. Create/Modify PLC Programs on Allen Bradley, Control and Compact Logix, processors for proper sequencing/control of centrifuges and communication with SCADA systems. HMI programming on Allen Bradley Panelview terminals for operator/end user control of centrifuges and ancillary equipment. Train internal and new hire employees on electrical design and troubleshooting practices. Integrate centrifuge system with upstream and/or downstream third-party equipment. Create and perform factory acceptance test procedures to ensure proper control/communication between control panels, ancillary equipment, and centrifuge system. Design and review electrical schematics for control panels. Provide technical assistance to customers for design or troubleshooting purposes.
