Assumed full ownership of business planning, budget development/management, supply chain operations, sales forecasting, profit & loss, customer relations, business development, and much more. Delivered data-driven business strategies as well as new systems and procedures that pushed manufacturing to achieve new levels of performance. Succeeded in improving the operational structure to grow annual revenue by 20% in 2019 ($25M+), while margins increased from 17% to 23%. Monthly shipments jumped from 1.6M to 2.1M as the company achieved the most profitable months in its history with no increase in manpower. Created a collaborative environment that empowered stakeholders across all areas to drive continuous improvement and meet more demanding targets. Carefully managed the annual budget and maximized return on investment (ROI) by preventing overages and minimizing burn rates. Jacksonville, FL Strategized and rolled out the manufacturing processes for a new, 500K square foot facility that merged four manufacturing facilities from around the country into a single plant, where 30+ pieces of CNC equipment were put into service. Designed the project plan and vision for moving operations forward and managed all capital initiatives to completion. Built effective relationships with a key network of vendors and negotiated all pricing and deliverables. Adapted each product to new processes/equipment, successfully getting operations running at peak performance within project budget parameters. Standardized overall tooling approach to minimize inventory mixture, capitalize on proven manufacturing techniques, and maximize efficiency. Directed, mentored, and optimized the performance of a team of Mechanical Engineers and CNC Programmers. Collaborated with the Component Manufacturing team, providing the training, insights, and guidance to help the team achieve operational excellence in executing all processes. Created strategic partnerships with local universities and nonprofit groups to deliver specialized programs focused on cultivating future talent for component manufacturing across the region. Launched a federally recognized apprenticeship program in cooperation with FSCJ, NIMS, and the State of Florida.

Orlando, FL Oversaw all aspects of the manufacture of the company's proprietary Compressor Blade Airfoil component, consisting of five axis machining of stainless and super alloys. Assumed control of a capital expansion project with a proposed $4.7M budget that was left uncompleted by a previous employee and was intended to create an advanced manufacturing process. Scrapped the initial proposal, which had only recommended upgrading the original process with newer equipment and met with several vendors to devise a new approach and process that cut project budgetary needs by $1M. Succeeded in increasing productivity by 160%, reducing average processing time by 8.5 hours, cutting hand work to less than three hours, slashing scrap from 60% to under 5%, and driving down manufacturing costs by 21%. The new process was revolutionary for the power/aerospace industry, particularly in the machining of airfoils.

Jacksonville, FL Directed all operations for the Laser Division, while delivering new components and innovative solutions for the company. Designed and developed: Multi-axis robotic LBW cell consisting of two six-axis Fanuc side-slung robots equipped with a fiber delivered diode laser and co-axial powder delivery tool. Groundbreaking Laser cladding process and various methods to apply alloy coatings on carbon steel base materials in addition to multiple pieces of automation for the process and alternate powder delivery "heads". Modular, automated HVOF spraying system. Additionally, led IT operations for the company, including migrating all 65 staff members to the cloud and crafting policies and procedures for remote access (VPN), cellphones, hardware selection & upgrades, and Email among other IT components.

Independently contracted out as an engineering expert to work with a host of industry-leading companies on a variety of projects, both domestically and internationally, ranging in value from $50K+ to $49M+. A selection of projects/services included completing CNC "Turnkey" projects, delivering engineering consultations & production assistance, managing clients' Production Departments, automation integration, PLC programming, robotic programming, software development, and much more (list of specific projects available upon request).
