Programming Skills (1)
Design electrical control systems for various line of automotive testing & measuring equipment used for testing of electric powertrain systems including electric vehicle drive systems, motors and starters. Design includes detail conceptual single line diagrams, electrical controls schematics, PLC and machine safety programming, I/O lists and bill of materials. Design of 460V/600V 3-phase dynamometer testing equipment and industrial panel layout incorporating industrial safety system design using Beckhoff's TwinSAFE safety system. Liaise with mechanical, electronics and software engineers to ensure that machine controls design is consistent with overall machine design specification and customer requirement. Assist manufacturing & production team in testing & debugging machine to make sure machine performance conforms to designed specifications.
