About Me
Attended UNK as a student athlete pursuing a computer science degree. After 2 years I decided to change my field of study. Coming home I got an internship and started taking classes for Mechatronics having a much more enjoyable experience. After earning my Degree in Mechatronic I had the opportunity to work 2nd shift working at BD after nearly 2 years I have recieved another opportunity in a day shift position.
I aspire to be in a career that will involve variety of machinery, programming, and electronics to expand on what I have already been taught in school. My plan is to continuously develop a greater comprehension of electrical and mechanical equipment. Using opportunities of experience and learning to improve skills on situations of problem-solving, repairs, and projects. The research and knowledge I hope to gain will also help me reach future goals of pursuing a bachelor’s degree and possibly a Journeyman's license

Currently a large portion of my job responsiblity. Plant wide coverage inolving several different departments with a wide varity of machinery.
I have been working in the field of automation and maintenance for a little over four years. Two of those years were spent as an intern while attending classes. This allowed for a wide verity of experiences before completing my degree.
Professional Competencies (6)
Working with Operators on new installs/ updates and basic knowledge of their machine. Teaching safety, Basic operations, training on faults, crash, and machine problems with possible causes and ways to prevent it and ways to keep machines in good working order.
Both Electrical and Mechanical trouble shooting experience in automation.
Project required updating of 20 of our smaller machines. Removal of all internals and install new PLC as well as program. Project took place over several months. Several Larger Projects to install, wire, and troubleshoot new machines shipped over seas. Solve issues while dealing with foreign programming tags as well as wiring Diagrams.
