Sharp-edge-Based Micromixer and Disposable Acoustofluidic Device Fabrication, Duke University 06/2018-08/2018 Research Assistant Developed the mode design in Solidworks and AutoCAD, successfully making sharp-edge channels for cells/drug carriers and transducers activated by acoustic devices. Constructed moveable disposable PDMS channels and fine-tuned parameters for a better experimental condition. Assisted Ph.D. students in research papers and regularly reported in the weekly group meeting. Guidance and navigation of autonomous robotics, PolyU 09/2017-06/2018 Graduation Design with Lidar sensor and KUKA robot Used LiDAR sensor to get environment information and applied probabilistic theory/algorithm to predict the current position. Applied mathematical algorithms to identify the object, avoid obstacles and plan the path. Implemented route planning through dynamical point clouds clustering and obstacle determination. Achieved "Outstanding Works for Graduation Design" by accomplishing indoor unmanned drive with KUKA as moving platform and Lidar as the 3D sensor. Design and develop a device that can extract energy from water flows using vortex-induced vibration. Achieved the cylinder permanent vibration and made a prototype that worked smoothly and was used in the later teaching processes.
