I was sub contracted to Kuka systems corporation to support welding for the launch of the Ford super duty. I also worked in the laboratory at Fusion to test the weldabilty of various materials and material coatings.
I interned in the robotic welding lab at Panasonic. There I programmed panasonic robots to weld customer provided parts to establish if automation was feasible for each individual application. I also developed weld parameters for each weld. This was mainly mig welding but also some tig and plasma welding.
