Currently employed (9 yrs) as VP of engineering for a machine/solutions builder, I have engineering and project managment skills that allow me to take a project from concept to delivery with a very robust poka-yoke approach to its operation. In addition, my analytical troubleshooting skills are my strong point.
Background in Lasers / Electro-Optics, Electrical Engineering.
Was a participant in the International Science and Engineering Fair in high school; Tested out of my first year electronics in college; started working professionally as a bench tech repairing amplifier circuits at age 17.

Started out as just a tech working subcontract but quickly was picked up full time and I closed my shop to take full time employment. From there I was promoted to project manager, then VP of engineering and finally offered partnership of a $1Mil+/yr project sales company. I have declined due to circumstances that I cannot disclose here but I am now seeking to freelance instead.
TTL digital, analog, microcontroller embedded For many years, I had an electroncis repair shop where on a daily basis instrumentation like scopes and meters were used to troubleshoot, locate faulty components and repair the defective boards. In addition, I also did small product development that focused on PIC micro / Atmel AVR / Intel / Motorola / FPGA based products where I had circuit boards printed for me. I stuffed the boards manually in my shop and sold them nationally. My main product was installed in satellite music receiving equipment for AEI/3M/ Muzak. I also developed computer software/hardware based batting cage and tanning salon control systems that included dababase accounting functions. All of this experience taught me about switchmode power supplies, PMW controls, HMI's, PLC's, computer applications..etc. I gave up my business in 2010 to work for my current employer as a Modicon programmer.
