July 2015 - Present Role: Power Operations Engineer - Monitor quality of steam, instrument air, cooling tower water, chilled water, Bulking air, String up air and Dow systems to ensure Nylon Plant production is within specifications - Support Power/Utilities Operators in equipment startups - Support Power/ Utilities operations and maintenance in energy control procedures to prepare equipment to safely shutdown and repair - Develop operations procedures on equipment startups and shutdowns associated with Boilers, Instrument Air Dryers, Turbine Generators, Air Compressors etc. - developing knowledge of Allen Bradley RSLogix 500 programming a Micrologix 1200 PLC on instrument air dryers - Control panel design and build for HVAC unit - Logix Designer 5000 programming for HVAC unit - Developing knowledge of instrumentation installing control valves, thermostat on HVAC unit - - Owner of Boiler CEMS system maintaining equipment so that the plant maintains compliance with Title V Permit. - Began working to communicate with red lion data station plus to communicate with Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS system through Modbus 485 - Knowledge of wireless radio frequency sensors programming them with Crimson 3.0 Software and display using a redlion HMI. - Maintain a management of Change (MOC) system to ensure that all process safety hazards associate with a design change are thoroughly addressed - Working as a project manager installing 3 new Ingersoll Rand reciprocating air compressors managing commissioning and start up.
