Omar began his career in 2003 with an internship at MAGNA-Mexico Division's IT Department. His dedication quickly advanced him to roles as an IT Technical Support Technician and later as an apprentice in Maintenance. By 2008, he fully embraced Robotics and Automation, managing over 600 robots and providing extensive training.
As a Robotic Engineer at Magna CIMS, Omar’s visionary leadership propelled projects globally across Brazil, Mexico, the USA, Spain, Germany, India, and Thailand. He successfully managed teams, budgets, and projects ranging from single Robot/Tooling setups to complex systems involving 250+ robots, integrating advanced technologies such as Laser welding.
Proudly Mexican-American, Omar was born and raised in Mexico and now holds Permanent Residence in Chattanooga, TN. He is happily married to Luisa, a professional and certified Yoga trainer and specialist Door Dasher. Together, they are the proud parents of three ambitious and talented children: Veronica (Luigi), aspiring to be a musician or professional dancer; Victoria (Vik), dreaming of becoming an astronaut, lawyer, or painting artist; and Omar Jr (Nano), who envisions a future as a soldier, Batman, or animal keeper at a New Zealand zoo.

Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing and Robotics Engineer, he leads teams and strategizes for World-Class Manufacturing through Automation, utilizing cutting-edge technologies with over 800 robots, AGVs, and Automated and Random Bin Picking systems.
