Ronald — I&C \ DCS Commissioning Engineer

SUMMARY

Ronald has 42 years experience with controls and instrumentation, 36 years of which is with power and process applications. He has strong instrumentation and DCS experience and capabilities, and is also adept in the electrical and mechanical fields. He has extensive experience in the areas of commissioning work, pre commissioning, and startup. Including DCS and BOP commissioning, SIS testing, system integration, process improvement and outstanding people skills. Mr. worked for The Foxboro Co. in the 70’s and 80’s as a System Specialist doing startup work and commissioning. He formed Total Control System Services in New York in the 80’s where he supplied and supervised plant shutdown services and engineered turnkey systems for many companies in the WNY area. Ron also has 3 years experience programming and commissioning DDC HVAC commercial systems in the early 2000’s. During the past 10 years Ron was DCS supervisor at Calenergy, maintaining Foxboro I/A systems as well as DeltaV at several geothermal generating plants, commissioning lead for Fagan bringing 12 ethanol plants online, commissioned DeltaV at two SaskPower gas turbine plants, was with TDS at Point Beach during the last EPU project as turnover coordinator and various other rolls. Ron commissioned a 2000 TPD Oxygen plant (DeltaV), and was part of the commissioning team (Hatch) on the huge autoclaves at the Barrick Goldmine in the Dominican Rep. Ron was DCS Lead (Ovation) at the Plainfield CT gasifier plant until late 2013. In 2014 Ron was with Kentz ICST pre commissioning DeltaV at the Kearl Lake tar sands project in Alberta. His home is NE North Dakota.
