2011 - Present American Packaging Corporation, Columbus, WI Automation Engineer Focused on production, efficiency, and capability through the use of engineering and technology. Using my ability to understand processes, I was able to improve process efficiency through creative engineering and troubleshooting. Responsible for all machine processes by way of software programming, hardware upgrades, and streamlining of process with real data to alter process variables to better continuous improvement in quality for all production processes which also includes support equipment and the creation of new applications and program software maintenance. Work with departmental managers for setting and achieving operational goals through predictive and preventive maintenance. Consistently work with maintenance technicians with daily troubleshooting and problem solving. Other responsibilities include teaching of LOTO principles to all employees and a member of the Green Team and Training Team to better the transition of all new employees

2009 - 2011 Bucyrus Field Services Inc. South Milwaukee, WI Field Service Engineer Original equipment manufacturer of state of the art open pit and underground mining equipment utilizing the latest in Siemens, Sibas and S7 PLC technology for control and motion. I was personally responsible for the South East US territory to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, installation, start up, upgrade, and retrofit, of electrical systems of AC and DC powered drag lines and shovels used in the mining industries. Worked as my own manager in organizing troubleshooting and repairing along with the responsible for communicating with Mine Management Teams to schedule scope of work and determined completion with complete condition reports and recommendations for assets. Also travel to other sites in the Americas to help install, troubleshoot, and upgrade aging assets and commission new assets
