QCCPP-2 Duties and Responsibilities: Currently charged with the testing and commissioning handover activity for combined cycle power generation of total generation capacity to 4600 MW per year including 18 GE MS7001 FA Gas turbines of capacity 2988 MW with MARK Vie for its Turbine control system, Bentley Nevada 3500 for its Vibration Monitoring System (VMS), 15 HRSG's (DHI) and 5 ST's (GE-D11) Testing and Commissioning duties involve: 1. Reviewing process interlocks (start permissive & trip interlocks) for preparing functional test procedure and performing function test accordingly. 2. Modifying LOGIC diagrams if required as per client request or comments. 3. Preparing RFIs (request for inspection) for all I&C functional checks. 4. Reviewing Engineering submittals and preparing transmittals for client approval. 5. Preparing comment resolution sheets for the submittals. 6. Reviewing and modifying addresses of modbus list after comparing PLC modbus addresses with the DCS modbus addresses. 7. Reviewing and troubleshooting all fiber optics and Ethernet network topology of the plant as per approved engineering drawing. 7. Performing MODBUS testing as per the VENDOR approved list and modifying if required. 8. Reviewing and modifying HMI GRAPHICS for meeting the standards and attending client's comments. 9. Preparing SAT (SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST) procedures. 10. Familiar with ANSI, ISA, ASHRAE engineering codes.
