Design and layout of Logistics scan tunnels using Vision technology to capture barcode images and decode. Using multiple tools such as: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Dataman Setup Tool, Liquid Planner, SharePoint and SAP. Also JavaScript programming for unique interfaces to customer PLC.
Responsible for multiple projects worth up to $500K or more. Current project load 8 projects totaling 1 Million dollars. Scope, budget, scheduling with reporting to upper management for forecasting. Manage on-site installations and resources. Interact with customers throughout project.
Pre/post-sales support working closely with customers, sales, and technicians. Performing customer training onsite or office and supporting complex projects and applications, and Project Management of select projects. SoPas software, SICK scanners 400 and 600 series sensors and cameras, as well as Cognex cameras. Scanner integration with printing machines on multiple different products. Worked with PLC programs and programmers on correct integration.
Work out of my home servicing WI and upper MI. I serviced/installed industrial ink jet printers, thermal printers, and lasers that date codes. I managed 450 machines at over 150 customers.
Electrical Controls posion that included design and implementation and testing of controls for a vacuum packaging machine for the food processing industry. PLC programming using Beckhof industrial PC and ProfiBus.
Service and installation of large corrugated production and handling machinery. Project Coordinator for small and large projects. Electrical Panel Build shop- Assistant Supervisor for team of 15.
