Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, piping systems, conveyor systems, production machinery and instrumentation equipment.

Installation, fabrication, troubleshooting, repair, movement & maintenance of a wide variety of production & related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings and systems at a journeyman level.

PLC programming experience: Allen Bradley/ RS Logix/ Siemens Step 7.

Read drawings accurately, execute programs, and monitored robot output according to drawing specifications as directed by daily assignments from Shop Supervisor.

Provide a variety of support to the overall facility maintenance including support for all production lines.  Craft skills, (i.e. mechanical, electrical, welding, pipe fitting & machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move & maintain a wide variety of production & related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings and systems at a journeyman level.  Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, piping systems, conveyor systems, PLCs, production machinery and instrumentation equipment.  Operations including rigging, moving, erecting, aligning, and making necessary hook-ups, placing equipment in proper operating condition.  Perform preventative maintenance activities of all types, including the most critical types requiring extensive dismantling, re-assembly and critical adjustment, lubrication, and/or calibration.  Install new machinery and equipment and move machinery and equipment to effect layout changes as required.  Troubleshoot/repair web handling systems  Maintain pumps, perform welding, milling, drilling, and fabrication tasks  Perform pipefitting tasks, millwright tasks, preventive maintenance and miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Accomplishments:  Helped perform motor and gearbox changes for the sludge grinder ("Muffin Monster") necessary for the plant's biosolids processing systems. Got sludge grinding operations back to a 100% production.  Performed maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the palletizer that got product packaging and shipping back from 66% to a 100% performance.  Production had to stop due to machine breakdown. Performed troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the production lines bringing production speed back to 100% performance. Set-up, Operate, Maintain and Clean equipment on the Packaging production lines. (Troubleshoot, adjust and correct equipment issues/failures). (Assist Packaging Assemblers, support/participate in improvement projects). Perform Bottle Size Changeovers, (initiate work orders, complete work order task). Documenting changeover activities. Administrative responsibilities to include Data entry, recording downtime, batch record information, communication updates about daily events. Order replacement parts. Train Packaging Machine Specialist.

 Inspection of parts built from the press and made sure that parts were free of wrinkles, buckles, burrs on the holes, splits, galling, pull backs, slugs, dents, short trims and excessive dirt or grease.  Operated cranes to change dies and automation transfer arms necessary for the next part scheduled for production  Daily setup of press dies, making sure all parts are formed according to specifications

Setup and daily operation of robotic welder plus implement ways to fully utilize robotic welders to highest functionality and efficiency.  Full understanding and execution of welding program to run robot.  Read drawings accurately, execute programs, and monitored robot output according to drawing specifications as directed by daily assignments from Shop Supervisor.  Ensured output is within drawing tolerance, marking areas in need of touch-up.  Additional responsibilities included accurate inventory of parts in baskets, maintenance of robotic welder.  Notified shop supervisor of part quantities, issues regarding fixtures and updated production sheet.  Performed operator maintenance per established schedules.  Ordered and changed tips, liners, gas and wire as needed for robotic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) gun.  Loaded and assembled parts to be welded by an ABB robot, making sure every product that were welded pass and exceeds set standards of quality.  Recruited as Robot Operator, promoted to Quality Inspector and Press operator.
