Originally hired for 3 months extended for 9 months. Increased throughput in several areas. Reduced hand entered products from 21% to 3%, with changes designed and implemented, in apparel and shoe delivery. Reduced product turnaround from 6 days to 2 days in house. - GM Spring Hill. Contracted to GM Truck IS&S, responsibilities included; to design and oversee installation of QS9000 practices and equipment for COSS, which included the following: Error Proofing, Andon, Material JIT pull system, and Job tracking. These systems were developed jointly between GM and Rockwell Automation. Installation of all infrastructure backbones, which include, Ethernet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet. Senior Controls Engineer: Responsible for supporting plant maintenance, production, press and weld cell systems. - Contracted to GM Pontiac East Assembly to fill a position in the Technical Support Maintenance department. This position supervises 20+ skilled trades that include electricians, millwrights, pipe fitters, toolmakers, and machine repair. Job scheduling, GMTKS, ISO 9002, 14001, & TS16249 standards, safety practices. Schedule Maximo preventative maintenance tasks. Redesign pallet seat conveyor. Abide by UAW/GM national and local agreement. AutoCAD layouts for mech. and elect. from engineering.

Track Technologist Supplemental: Responsible for entire Proving Ground location. Responsible for all testing, facility safety, scheduling test vehicle assignments, scheduling test drivers, monitoring wildlife. Providing support to all customer, and vehicle platforms. - Developed and designed PM&C screens for monitoring AVI and Body Shop stations. Wrote all PLC3 base conveyor logic for CMORE and developed plant floor monitoring system data for CMORE. AutoCAD layouts. - Supported VAX based Production Monitoring and Control system PM&C. Wrote software interface to annunciation marquees from the VAX computer to display assembly line messages. Supported RF based ASRS system. Wrote DB basic program to convert carrier numbers at body transfer stations, job tracking system. Project Lead on VAX 11/780 to VAX 4000 conversion. Supported Automatic Vehicle Identification and Body Shop Scheduling support. ASRS Delivery Conveyor install and debug. Wrote several PLC programs that include; Pay point, Pull System PLC backup, moving reads at AVI stations. Project Lead on converting RF tag brackets after radiator support engineering change. Developed Exhaust Weld scheduling system, to handle several different types of exhaust, with the HMI to support this system. Performed at tech team leader for plant floor systems team.
