Complete inspections of parts or tooling and report deviations from engineering drawings or models. Lead mechanics and technicians to complete repairs or modifications to tooling. Standardize inspection processes, measurement profiles, and work instructions to create project templates for recurring projects. Inspections performed with primarily Faro and Leica Laser Trackers.

Perform measurements with an array of Precision Measurement Instruments in a variety of environments from flight lines, to machine shops, and laboratories. Complete inspections of parts or tooling and report deviations from engineering drawings or models. Lead mechanics and technicians to complete repairs or modifications. Facilitate customer interaction to schedule for measurements to be performed. Provide support to Sales and Engineering to provide accurate quotes. Standardize inspection processes, measurement profiles, and work instructions to create project templates for recurring projects. Inspections Performed primarily with API, FARO, LEICA Laser Trackers - 80%. Other equipment used; Romer and FARO PCMM Arms, INCA and Nikon Cameras, Creaform Scanners, Surphaser Scanners, Nikon Laser Radar.

Perform comprehensive industrial measurement surveys of the ship and in-process manufactured/assembled structures, components and assemblies. Utilize industrial measurement equipment for precision setting, alignment and calibration of structures, weapons systems, machinery, and propulsion system components. Perform a variety of accuracy control activities to guide the industrial measurement surveys as well as develop accuracy control plans to predict and reduce the variability of fabricated, machined and assembled products through the interim stages of shipbuilding and manufacturing processes. Inspections Performed with API and FARO Laser Trackers, FARO PCMM arms, Leica Total Stations, INCA and Nikon Cameras.
