Acted as the client's (PMC) only instrumentation discipline focal point in the Integrated Management Team, supervising and overseeing the EPC Contractor's detailed engineering & design on the Rumaitha Associated Gas Gathering Project in Abu Dhabi; Monitored the Engineering Sub-contractor's instrumentation & control detailed engineering & design activities to check they met Project Specifications and DEPs; Took part in HAZOP and SIL reviews; Control systems: Honeywell Process Automation System (PAS), Instrument Protection System (IPS), Fire & Gas System (FGS), with HART smart transmitters and final control elements; Reviewed package vendor and other discipline documentation; Rumaitha onshore new & upgrade project; Dubbaya onshore upgrade project, including the Central Control Room upgrade

Acted as the only instrumentation discipline focal point, overseeing the EPC Contractor's detailed engineering & design on the DOM Associated Gas Gathering Project for SPDC in Nigeria; Took part in HAZOP and SIL reviews; Control systems: Emerson (Fisher-Rosemount) DeltaV PAS, IPS, FGS and SCADA, with HART and Foundation Fieldbus transmitters; Project included 5 fiscal metering packages and an analyser house; NLNG CCR upgrade: designed and built mesh-network communication for all trains and the jetty over a 35km fibre-optic line; NPDC projects (Utorogu NAG-2, Egbema AG, Egbema NAG)

OAGM Project: verified detail engineering and procurement and gave construction support (Chevron Nigeria); Funiwa offshore facility: provided conceptual & basic engineering input and a level-II estimate, and delivered a basic architectural block diagram; IKIKE Total projects: FEED, detailed design, engineering, procurement and vendor documentation review

EGP3B Ph-1, 2, 3 for CNL Nigeria: designed the full pneumatic control system for an offshore platform and supported construction, installation and commissioning; AKPO and EGINA FPSO: designed a fiscal metering skid; Brownfield projects for Exxon Mobil (Asaboo, Iyak, Inim, Erha North P-II FPSO) and Total (Usan, Ponticelli FSO)

Prepared project schedules and plans, coordinated with the EPC Contractor and vendors; Prepared engineering deliverables and followed up construction through handover with Zero LTI; Designed and commissioned 180 onshore sites; Installed and commissioned field instruments, level and flow meters, PID controls, RTUs with radio communication and analysers; Installed control panels (pneumatic, hydraulic WHCP) and downhole gauges; Set up soft interfaces with ESP, PSP, VFD and MCC; Troubleshot, did loop checks, tuned PID controllers and commissioned safety systems per Cause & Effect; Did E&I installation, commissioning, maintenance and shutdown work at an LNG gas plant, oil gathering station, high-pressure wellhead and water injection system; Prepared as-built redline markups and closed punch lists with QA/QC

Installed VSAT communication between onshore, offshore and unmanned wellhead platforms; Set up microwave radio communication on the SCADA system for process platforms

Provided input to bid documents; Worked on the Saudi Aramco offshore GOSP-4 Marjan-1 Package and the ONGC Offshore New Water Injection Project; Reviewed bid documents, raised technical queries to the client and reviewed project pros and cons

Prepared and reviewed Yokogawa DCS CS3000 logic charts, logic diagrams and functional analysis for 11 sites in the USA; Prepared logic charts, logic diagrams and functional analysis for the Invensys Foxboro Evo DCS and Triconex; Carried out SIL validation / verification

Prepared and reviewed RFQs, datasheets, offer evaluations and technical bid analyses, and gave technical support to procurement; Prepared engineering documents: Design Basis, architecture diagrams, specifications, critical MTO, logic diagrams, safety Cause and Effect; Selected fire and gas detector types, field instruments and analysers; Sized and selected control valves, safety valves and flow meters; Prepared instrument index, block and loop diagrams, process piping/pneumatic hook-up drawings, cable and drum schedules, marshalling and JB wiring, cable and tube tray layouts; Reviewed P&IDs, package vendor and other discipline documentation; QP PS1 offshore upgrade; RasGas facility upgrade and new water processing plant; QP work packs for modification and shutdown
