Asses techno-commercial requirements of each Project (process design, mechanical design, controls, interfacing, manufacturing, assembly, VTTO, TTO, installation & commissioning) and interpret these requirements into measures that will give an accurate status of the project. Responsibility of Jigs & Fixture Design for BIW, GA Line (Piercing, Inspection & Welding) from understanding customer requirement to making family tree to process design (process flow, PFMEA study) to conceptualization of fixtures to mechanical design to translating needs to mfg. (detailing). Supervising the design, assy. drawing detailing work. Conducting process & design reviews with customers. Interacting with design engineers of Comau worldwide to get technical feedback. Striving hard for VALUE ADDITION by way of cost effective, user friendly, competitive design solutions. Team leader/Project coordinator for mfg. projects. Understanding customer's requirements thru drawings & process, making a list of Indian equivalent materials list, modifying drawings, if required. Developing new vendors (National / International) for mfg. the parts as per drawing & for procuring standard bought out parts. Strictly adhering to budgets.
