SRI International (Summer Internship) – Autonomous Navigation and Path tracking of mobile systems using a sensor fusion engine of local sensors like Monocular or Stereoscopic Cameras, accelerometers and gyroscopes in GPS devoid locations (a DARPA ASPN project - All Source Positioning and Navigation) (May 2016 – July 2016)  Developed a mobile system with NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor, a monocular camera with inbuilt accelerometer and gyroscope and a GPS sensor to track the path of any mobile system (humans, drones or vehicles) in real time on Google Maps or Google Earth in GPS inaccessible areas using computer vision techniques like feature tracking and feature association.  Performed intrinsic and extrinsic camera calibration and improved the image quality and stabilization against IR and UV radiation in various climatic and terrain conditions.
