Responsibilities I troubleshoot and program all electronic equipment in a bottle manufacturer. I use Siemens Step 5 and Step 7 and Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 plc's to program Goldco palletizers and shrink wrap equipment and Sidel blow molding machines. I am also resposible for Panelview hmi's and Powerflex VFD drives which operate an extensive air conveyor system. I troubleshoot devicenet communications with the VFD drives. I am also familiar with Pressco camera vision systems which we use to error proof the blow molding process.
Responsibilities: I was responsible for the troubleshooting and programming of all electronically controlled devices in a CNC and assembly diesel automotive engine production facility. This includes Siemens plc's, Siemens HMI's, Fanuc and ABB robots, Cognex and IFM cameras and Atlas Copco servo nutrunners. I also am familiar with Profinet and Profibus communications. Siemens Step 7 and WinCC are used to program and troubleshoot Siemen's plc's and HMI's. I was also responsible for all the Heller CNC equipment and Liebherr Gantry material handling troubleshooting.
I maintained, troubleshot and made program changes to robotic and plc driven equipment in a press and welding metals and plastic injection molding automotive parts production facility. They use Motoman, ABB and Nachi robots in a large variety of applications. Also, the use of Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000 and 500 is used to control the complete operation of all the various types of production equipment. Panelview HMI's are also used to communicate to the plc's also. I was responsible for programming visual recognition software such as DVT Intellect for Cognex, IFM Efector Dualus and Keyence sensors on second shift
Owned and managed a residential and commercial electrical contracting service. I was solely responsible for the estimation, bidding, bookkeeping, and implantation of electrical wiring contracts.
Installed, maintained, planned and designed layout of work on equipment in the Assembly Dept., ranging from small mechanical/electrical tools (Bosch, Techmotive, Atlas Copco servo wrenches) to Windows based PLC controlled (RS Logix 5000 and Proworks NXT software) and AB inverter driven systems (JB Webb conveyors, Diafuku slat conveyors and chain elevators, PCU fluid fill equipment, hydraulic scissor lifts, Fanuc robotics).Programmed and maintained Fanuc robotics. I am familiar with operating and maintaining CNC equipment. I helped implement SAP (preventive maintenance program) into maintenance workforce. Familiar with monitoring and data acquisition systems (Intellution, Wonderware) through networking (ethernet, devicenet, controlnet or modbus plus).Experienced in programming HMI'S (panelmate, panelview). Also familiar with laser and stylus engraving and barcode reading equipment. Experience in fabrication of parts (plasma cutting, welding, machining, tooling) but programming is my specialty. I also substituted for five years for the team leader (supervisor) and performed maintenance managerial duties such as the planning of shutdown projects.
Responsible for designing, installing, integrating, debugging and upgrading material handling systems (palletizing) which comprised of PLC (Modicon, AB and Siemens) driven equipment. I trained in-house maintenance and operators for customer after installation. Helped build and program systems at manufacturing site when not in the field. Common components found in the system were belt driven roller conveyors, chain driven AB drive operated elevators, photo and prox or limit switches, servo encoders, pneumatic valves and cylinders, and plc's.
I maintained electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment that was controlled by Allen Bradley PLC 5 logic in the furnace department. Also programmed and troubleshooted extensively with wonderware
I was the team leader for second shift maintenance personnel while maintaining equipment in muffler stamping facility. Built and designed control boxes, troubleshot and modified PLC (Allen-Bradley, Omron, GE and Mitsubishi) programs and relay logic equipment and repaired control boards. I was the sole person responsible for programming all PLC's on second shift. Maintained conveyors, resistance and arc welders, encoder cutoff tubing mill, hydraulic punch presses and 3-ton stamp presses (tool & die used), pneumatic muffler cap spinning equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, Cincinnati and Maho cnc lathes.
