Responsible for implementing control programming for automated production measurements transport system. System was on a Montratrac rail with moving shuttles and 65 gates for shuttle access to each testing station. Control was via Turck PLC's with programming in IEC-61131 languages. Each gate had to access the local testing station Rockwell PLC (SLC-5 and Control Logix) to determine where to send shuttle after testing. Also created the SCADA system for plant using Rockwell Panelview.
All phases of manufacturing automation from process design, and development through automated assembly, inspection, and testing. (see resume)
5 US Patents; Designed, developed, and supervised the installation of multiple machine controls and electrical systems. Experienced with all kinds of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control equipment; motors and drives; programmable logic controllers, communications methods. Supervised the start-up, debugging, and commissioning of many automated systems.
