Performed industrial robot support of the pharmaceutical packaging and distribution lines at the Murfreesboro VA-CMOP facility and maintained a 90% production rate of continuous operations. System integration of oven material handling cell utilizing Fanuc R-2000iC robots, providing operators with jogging control through Panel View Plus operator interface terminal. Replaced pre-existing Versa View and Panel View operator interface terminals with latest and greatest Panel View Plus providing additional Ethernet/IP communication capabilities. Led Helix Anchor Assembly Weld Cell initiative, a $2.5M project converting a manual weld process into an automated process within Chance division of Hubbell Power Systems Inc. Implementation of operator interface and robotic control program modifications to cell based manufacturing operations for mass production of utility anchors and high voltage tooling. Achieved 20% reduction in downtime by setting up communications between PC and Fronius welders so weld parameters could be modified without having to enter the cell. Path optimization achieved by installing a Dalsa vision system and upgrading ABB IRC5 robotic code to dynamically calculate best path to target utilizing Rapid language.
