How does the Automate America Help Center work?

The Automate America Help Center answers common questions about using the marketplace — creating an account, posting or applying to contracts, timesheets, expenses, payouts, and White Glove managed service. Posting work and creating a profile are free, and you see qualified applicants within minutes of posting. Browse a topic below, or contact support for anything not covered here.

Finding and Applying to Contracts

Browsing Available Work

The Feed is your main source for finding contracts.

Accessing the Feed

  1. Click Feed in the navigation
  2. Browse available work requests
  3. Use filters to narrow results

Understanding Listings

Each work request card shows:

  • Job Title - Position being filled
  • Company - Customer posting the work
  • Location - Work site location
  • Duration - Expected contract length
  • Rate Range - Pay range offered

Filtering Results

Use the search filters to find relevant work:

  • Location - Filter by state or city
  • Occupation - Your specialty area
  • Skills - Specific manufacturer or software
  • Duration - Short-term, long-term, or permanent

Applying to a Contract

When you find a good match:

  1. Click the listing to view full details
  2. Review the requirements carefully
  3. Click Apply Now
  4. Add a brief message to the customer (optional but recommended)
  5. Confirm your application

Application Tips

  • Personalize your message - Reference specific requirements
  • Highlight relevant experience - Mention similar past projects
  • Be responsive - Customers appreciate quick replies

After Applying

Your application status will show in your Dashboard:

  • Submitted - Application received
  • Under Review - Customer is reviewing
  • Shortlisted - You made their short list
  • Offer Extended - Contract offer ready
  • Accepted/Rejected - Final status

Application Limits

Depending on your account type:

  • Free accounts: Limited applications per month
  • Premium accounts: Unlimited applications
