Robot Programmer contract in Elk City, Oklahoma. $80/hr · 7 weeks.

We are in need of programming support for a Fanuc welding cell with a tool change to a plasma torch.

It would be a plus if the programmer has WeldPro experience. WeldPro is already loaded on the customer computer. The main goal is for the customer to be able to generate programs to cut and bevel holes with the robot with the plasma gun. This cell has been in place for 8 years mainly cutting the same part. Now it is time for a new 30” diameter part to be programmed.

Once the standoffs are manually tacked in place then the robot will automatically change tools. So, the programmer needs to write programs to search the standoffs for proper locations and write programs to weld multi-pass welds.

The programmer will need experience writing programs using search routines, TAST routines, multi-pass routines, user frames and similar programming technique.

This job will begin ASAP and continue for 1 week, 8 hours per day then discussion will take place concerning 1 additional week. Each week will consist of at least 4 days on the customer’s floor with travel in addition to that.

Laptop may be required. No other tools necessary.

Three (3) days Programming Services and plus the associated travel to engage programmer at Customer facility, Elk City, OK as follows:

Day 1: Travel day

Days 2, 3, 4: Onsite work

Day 5: Travel day

Equipment and platforms on this work: Fanuc.

Tools called for: Basic Electrical Tools, Basic Hand Tools, Computer and Lockout Tagout Kit.
