Robot Programmer contract in Sterling Heights, MI. $44/hr · 3 months.
ABB robot programming support @ Ford-Van Dyke (weekends/ 1st shift) through the end of 2021. The project is large retool so all the robots are currently in production and we are making modifications on the weekends for a new part type. There will be another robot programmer on-site that is familiar with the processes and programs to assist the new robot programmer. Production startup support not required on Monday mornings if an issue. Main responsibilities include:
Work schedule
6AM-2:30PM (Saturdays and/or Sunday). Potential to work 12 hours on Saturday if available (not required).
Robot modifications
Teaching new points based on new EOAT and/or pallet details.
Adding new style types to accommodate new part type
Recovery/Cycle time improvement
*** Only local candidates will be considered. Saturdays will be paid at overtime rate. Sundays will be paid at the Sunday/Holiday rate. Mondays are optional. ***
