PLC/Robotics Programmer contract in Greer, South Carolina. $63/hr · 5 days.
Need an experienced Engineer with BMW-V8 standard experience for Production Support in BIW. Advisory and Programming role. The individual may not doing any actual programming as the equipment still belongs to the line builder and the dynamic with the planners, ESA, SSBs, Controls Engineers and Central Maintenance is super complex.
What I need is a neutral third-party to guide and advise…and translate. The goal is to be in full capacity on the floor with the production manager daily and assess the issues as they arise as a neutral third-party. As an advisor, if the solution is known, the individual can direct the corrected programming as approved by the manager.
50 hours should be spent in production and the remaining 10 hours spent preparing an assessment of the situation, gaps in our current state, what is needed to resolve and proposed next steps.
Equipment and platforms on this work: KUKA and Siemens.
Tools called for: Basic Electrical Tools and Basic Hand Tools.
