Automate America has a project in Webberville, MI and we are looking for a local PLC programmer that has a strong knowledge of Sinumerik Commissioning . The programmer must also have a strong knowledge of NC programming as well.

The programmer must be proficient with Siemens S7 (STL) and have a strong knowledge of PROFIBUS, PROFINET, ASi Networks , and EUCHNER safety devices.

Operation: Station panel OP010 with PCU 50. The station panel is integrated into a mobile control console. On-Board interface Ethernet TCP/IP

Control cabinet: The control cabinets for the machining units with PLC/NC control, drive controllers and feeders will be free-standing.

Air conditioning according to the thermal load, if required, through cooler units working without CFCs, mounted on the roof from the control cabinet.

EPS interface: The machine is provided with the hardware and software for connection to the existing plant network

Set-up machining operations: In a special mode (Safety Integrated Step 1 ) the slides of one unit can be controlled manually at reduced speed while the safety doors are open. It is not possible to switch on the spindle(s), to run an automatic sequence or to carry out a workpiece transport.

Installation: If possible, units moved during machine operation will be connected via cable supporting gear. Up to a cable length of 10m, the cables are firmly connected. Unless there are standard connectors provided at the motor, servo and main spindle motors are always firmly connected without further adapter plugs.

Long-lasting markings on both sides identify all plug & socket connections. The single cores will not be identified.

Looking for local programmers only. Expenses are not included and must be paid by the contractor.
