Keeping Your Automate America Account Yours: Phone Codes, Devices and Sessions

Thank you for trusting us with your account, your work and your pay details. Automate America keeps your account yours: a code to your phone when it matters, and you in control of every device.

So what does that mean for you? Someone who learns your password still can't sign in on a new device without your phone. And you can see everywhere you're signed in, and switch any of it off.

When you join, we text one six-digit code to confirm your phone. Joining with Google or LinkedIn asks for it too. Sign in with your email, or with your phone number. On a new device, we text you a code. After that, the device is remembered.

Open Settings, then Security. You'll see every device we remember, and every place you're signed in. Remove one, or all of them, any time. Your recent sign-ins are listed there too.

Changing your phone number needs your current password, and a code sent to the new number. A number that's already on another account can't be used. Change your password, and your other devices are signed out within a minute. Forgot it? Reset it from the sign-in page, by email, or with a code to your confirmed phone.

Here's what happens next. Sign out in one tab, and every tab signs out with you. Too many wrong passwords pauses sign-in for a while. You're never locked out for good. Thank you for keeping your phone number current. It's what keeps your account yours.

Staying safe costs you nothing, and there's no risk in requesting or applying, ever. Nothing is committed until the customer clicks Hire, or the professional clicks Accept Offer.

A password alone is easy to lose, guess or reuse. The old site never texted a code when you joined, and never showed you where you were signed in. Now your phone confirms it's you, and you decide which devices stay signed in.
