We are in need of controls support for a machine that we just recently installed and is entering production. This will be a 4-6 week contract.
The machine has an Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC, a couple Kinetix servos, and a mix of 2 Fanuc weld robots and 3 Fanuc material handling robots.
Production runs Monday thru Saturday, 2 shifts (6am-2:30 and 3:30-midnight).
We need 2 controls engineers, proficient in both Allen Bradley & Fanuc, for production support of both shifts Monday-Saturday (1 on each shift) for the next several weeks at least, likely 4-6 weeks.
You will support production to put out immediate fires, keep the line moving, and keep parts being produced. This will allow for our engineers bandwidth to work on solutioning some problem areas of the machines without getting bogged down by production support.
Ideally candidates would be local to either Johnson City, TN, or Greenville, SC.
Equipment and platforms on this work: Allen Bradley / Rockwell and Fanuc.
Tools called for: Basic Electrical Tools, Basic Hand Tools, Laptop and Lockout Tagout Kit.
