Job Description

Solar Site in California:

PLC - Schneider Modicon

SCADA - N3uron – We have this portion covered at this site, but any experience with this would be considered a bonus.

Scope:

Modification to current reactive and active power control

Mobilization to site: the sooner the better

Accommodation covered by the client

Estimated to be until September (possibly longer).

Expect 2-week rotation - if the person is able to stay on site longer than 2 weeks - perfect. However, expect we will be rotating the resources.

We estimate 8-10 hours a day (8 hours workday, 1 hour to/from site). Monday-Friday, but Saturdays may occur.

Contractor will be provided with a PC at the site that will provide them with site specific access needed. That said, the contractor is expected to have access to MS Teams - to facilitate meetings/team calls if needed that might not be possible from the end of the customer's PC.

Overall, we expect someone who can adapt quickly, get quickly up to speed and contribute with strong PLC/control engineering skillset.

Contractor will be provided with a PC at the site that will provide them with site specific access needed. That said, the contractor is expected to have access to MS Teams - to facilitate meetings/team calls if needed that might not be possible from the end of the customer's PC Anyone that is not considered local (within 1 hour drive) - is eligible for travel expenses and would have accommodation booked. We also book the airfare. Due to car rental companies requiring credit card owners name match the drivers license - we encourage techs to book the rental cars and reimburse per receipt. Certificate of Insurance (COI): A current COI must be uploaded to your profile before starting any project. This is essential for compliance with our insurance policy and to protect all parties involved. The minimum coverage required is $1,000,000 in General Liability. Please obtain your COI through the following process if you don't have a current COI already: Visit Hiscox Insurance. Enter your Zip Code to specify your state. Select/Type the nature of your work, for example, "Controls Systems Integration/Automation." Indicate the structure of your business (Corporation, LLC, etc.). You can select 'Other' if you don't yet have a company started. Choose the date for your coverage to start. Ensure you select a minimum of $1,000,000 General Liability Coverage. Timesheets and Expense Reports: These must be submitted by 9 AM on Monday mornings. Adherence to this deadline is crucial for maintaining our commitment to clients and for the timely processing of invoices. Please note the following late fee policy: A late submission beyond the deadline will incur a fee. Starting from Tuesday, a $100 late fee will be applied. An additional $50 fee will be charged for each day beyond the initial late period. Timesheets must be signed by the customer representative before submission. Expense reports must be signed by the customer representative and include receipts.
