PLC Programmer contract in Oakville, Ontario. $54/hr · 3 weeks.
We are in need of strong controls guy, PLC-5 and ControlLogix experience for support of some kits we are installing at Ford Oakville (Canada) It’s the two weekends 12/9 and 12/16 leading up to the shutdown, then 12/23/17 thru 1/2/18 (Christmas day and New Year’s day off). 12 hours each day. The control engineer will be paired with another controls engineer (presently assigned) and will cover the opposite shift. Plan is for 24hr coverage (12 hr shift). We are installing, kitting new gantry’s to some Alignment machines. Again, they need to be pretty strong with PLC5 experience.
The controls engineer will need to go through safety training through State – Ford contractor on site at OAC (hour long class) and is $101.70 Canadian. Controls engineer will need hard hat, safety shoes (green triangle), safety vest and safety glasses to operate in the area of construction during the install.
