Machine Upgrade

• Contractor needed to advise, train, and/or teach in all phases of the project.

• Remove old Westinghouse PLC and replace it with new Allen-Bradley PLC.

• Replace all pushbuttons and old HMI with new Windows based HMI. New HMI will connect to plant database.

Components

• Evaluate machine operation and electrical components and provide advice on correct selection based on project needs.

Wiring

• Assist with control panel wiring.

• Develop wiring and panel layout diagrams.

Programming

• Assist Technician with PLC programming.

• Develop custom .NET APP from existing framework to control data flow to machine enabling user access to PLC.

Finished Product

• Streamline functions to allow machine to operate at or above original production specifications.

• Machine to have the ability to pull recipes from plant database to load and run production orders.

• New equipment to have an updated professional appearance when complete.
