We have an ABB IRB 4600 robot system with an IRC5 controller that uses a Cognex IS7802 camera to locate a 250mm x 225mm ceramic plate. These plates shift as they travel through kiln. The robot program uses the camera data to calculate pick position. The camera failed and was replaced. The new camera has some Fish-eye that needs to be corrected, and the pick positions need to be adjusted. The robot's resolvers were recalibrated twice and this might have affected the positions, as well.
After the camera issue is resolved, we will need the programmer to work with the PLC programmer to sort out some reoccuring bugs.
