Robot Programmer contract in Rochester, NY. $68/hr · 6 months.

Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for some or all of the following:

• Develop and validate offline robot simulations using Fanuc RoboGuide.

• Create and optimize robot programs for Fanuc collaborative robots (CRX series preferred).

• Develop and test robot logic for production applications.

• Support system commissioning and startup as required.

• Assist with troubleshooting and program modifications during commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience with:

• Fanuc robot programming (CRX experience preferred)

• Fanuc RoboGuide simulation software

• Robot Tool and User Frame creation

• TCP calibration and payload configuration

• Robot I/O integration Preferred (but not required):

• Experience integrating 2D or 3D vision systems with Fanuc robots

• Vision-guided part location and pick applications

• Familiarity with common industrial vision platforms

Project Details

• Multiple collaborative robot applications are anticipated.

• Initial work will focus on offline simulation development.

• Additional programming and commissioning work may follow based on project needs.

Equipment and platforms on this work: Fanuc.

Tools called for: Basic Electrical Tools, Basic Hand Tools, Laptop and Lockout Tagout Kit.
