Mechanical Design Engineer contract in Pelham, AL. $48/hr · 2 months.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a few new projects. This can be remote work for qualified candidates outside of the AL area.
2-5 years’ experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Experience with tooling, fixturing design and robot end of arm tooling (EAOT).
Experience in mechanical design and designing automation systems.
Ability to perform stress analysis calculations.
Experience with SolidWorks simulations
Ability and experience with conceptualizing a design all the way to create fabrication drawings.
Design structural steel for fabrication using AutoCad
Creating material takeoff and cost estimates
Create 3D concept models with animation and perform mechanical analysis modeling.
Experience with R&D
Experience with product design and development
Approx 1-2 month project with possiblity of more projects to follow.
Equipment and platforms on this work: AutoCAD and Solidworks.
