Issues:
1. The robots continuously needs to be manually
homed back into position.
a. Occurs 3 to 4 times a shift
b. Occurs during actual testing
c. Occurs when station is idle
2. The Robot Program configuration for bolt
tightening position needs to be modified
a. The program doesn’t communicate to the PLC the
correct position of the bolt
i. EX. The robot will go to its 2nd position but it states
that its 5th position.
3. Program for each Part type ran in station
a. Currently the station runs on one program for each
part, assuming that each part is the exact same.
b. Need to teach robots to be part specific, so we don’t
fall into the issue of teaching robot each time a
particular part type gives us trouble.
