Chandler, AZ - Contractor Provided controls engineering support for the startup and production of 56 new N95 medical mask machines. ▪ Interacted with OEM JR Automation and Honeywell to integrate, troubleshoot, commission, and maintain new equipment. Worked with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc Robots and custom-built machinery. ▪ Implemented autonomous mobile robots to transfer material to machines throughout the plant. Conducted site acceptance testing and standard operation documentation. ▪ Used Ignition software to collect machine data and create weekly production and performance reports

Newton, NC Design, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify system software to support production lines and develop more efficient assembly/testing processes. ▪ Developed machine electrical drawings, PLC/HMI program and controls documentation for a new seal press and verify station. Integrated new station components (Kistler press, Festo pneumatic servo controller, Cognex vision system, digital I/O sensors and pneumatic cylinder) into existing line. ▪ Integrated new KUKA robot gripper system that allowed production line to pick/place two new part types. ▪ Updated quality data TCP/IP communications between machines and plant server to store customer data.

Grand Rapids, MI Provided installation, programming, customer support, training, troubleshooting and upgrades for customer automotive equipment. ▪ Commissioned five end of line test loops for GKN Driveline to authenticate GM/Ford rear differential and power transfer units. Provided customer support, PLC programming and installed equipment. ▪ Start up of a wheel and tire line at CEVA Logistics in Mexico to automate the assembly of wheels and tires according to a customer build schedule. Tires are mounted to the wheels using robots, inflated, pressure verified using tire pressure monitoring systems, spun and balanced then verified using vision systems. ▪ Electrical engineer for six prop shaft balancing machines. Prepared bill of materials, ordered parts, updated machine drawings using AutoCAD and implemented PLC controls updates.

Summer 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 Battle Creek, MI Assisted engineering groups to develop custom methods of quality testing and evaluation of products. ▪ Designed integrated circuits for HVAC testing to allow control of servo motor position and fan speeds. ▪ Programmed AVR microcontrollers for applications in PWM, ADC/DAC, Timers, UART and LCD/GLCDs.
