About Me
I am an automation and controls professional with a strong background in custom machine integration, electrical and controls design, PLC and HMI programming, robotics, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project leadership. Over the course of my career, I have worked across a wide range of industrial applications, from standalone machines to complex multi-system automation projects.
My experience includes Rockwell controls systems, HMI development, robotic integration, servo applications, industrial communications, machine safety, and electrical design. I have worked extensively with custom equipment involving material handling, assembly, process control, motion, and robotic systems, and I am comfortable working through both new machine development and difficult production troubleshooting.
A major part of my role has been bridging the gap between engineering, field implementation, and customer needs. I have led controls and electrical projects from concept through design, programming, startup, and final commissioning, while also supporting customers after installation. I place a strong emphasis on system reliability, maintainability, and practical solutions that work in real production environments.
In my current role as Vice President of Electrical & Controls at Enterprises, I am involved not only in technical project execution, but also in project planning, resource coordination, customer communication, estimating, mentoring engineers, and helping guide the direction of the controls group. I regularly support our team with troubleshooting, application development, programming strategy, and field commissioning.
My background has given me extensive hands-on experience with machine startup and production support, including situations where fast, effective troubleshooting is critical. I enjoy taking complex machine problems, breaking them down into manageable pieces, and developing solutions that improve performance, reliability, and overall operation.
