Allen Bradley Control system included a Micrologix 1400 PLC, Panelview color touch screen, and three axis of motion control using Kinetix indexers with Ethernet based network communications. Project goal to improve cycle time by 40% was achieved along with several key reliability enhancements. I was responsible for field survey of existing facilities and equipment, and development of electrical and control isolation/separation and demolition drawing packages. I specified owner furnished electrical equipment and consumables. I represented the detailed electrical design effort during weekly vendor/client project staff meetings and was responsible for updating schedule and electrical cost data.

The upgrade to completely different drive technology was performed on an emergency basis working with the original equipment supplier.
