Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Developed a cooling theory, designed and built a testing enclosure to test current theories on a small scale, confirmed successful results and designed a full-scale system to cool castings. The result was a fully custom 260'x40' penthouse capable of 1,700,000 cfm supply/exhaust/makeup air of air movement and several ancillary systems. Also designed a well water cooling system for process equipment (1200 gpm), designed an industrial exhaust hood system with a 130' long hood moving 220,000 cfm, 3D modeled and provided biddable construction documents for a piping system and developed the PLC controls strategy for the entire cooling system.
