Connection Stories

What are Connection Stories and how do they work?

Connection Stories are short accounts two people write about real work they did together on Automate America — the project, how they met on the job, what it was like. Once you are connected with someone you have worked with here, either of you can write one. The other person sees it on their dashboard and confirms it, adds their side, or declines it privately. A story both people confirm is Verified and carries a Verified Story mark — both people who were there, standing behind the same account of the work. A Verified story shows on both people's profiles, where anyone can read it. Until then, only connections can read it. Names in stories are first names only. A story cannot include phone numbers, email addresses or links. Either person can remove a story at any time, and you can hide stories from your profile altogether. Connections can also endorse the skills and experience on each other's profiles. Verified stories from the people you've worked with are the strongest thing on your profile. Before you hire, read the Verified stories written by the people a professional has worked with here — proof from the people who were there.
